Jackson Hole Fishing Report for 4.25.13.
With the recent spring snowstorms our snow pack is now “normal” for a 30 year average. This means we’re anticipating a solid runoff, which will flush the rivers and make for another great fishing season. The Upper Snake reservoir system is currently 77% full and we anticipate having holdover water in the dams. We are currently guiding on the Snake and Green Rivers and plan to continue to do so until runoff, which we’re guessing will hit about mid May, based on the current forecast. The Snake is fishing extremely well currently on Blue Wings, little black stoneflys and a few skwallas. We saw an incredible amount of big fish eating dries all afternoon today. The Green River is also fishing well on Blue Wings and streamers. Please continue to check in with our latest Jackson Hole Fishing Report. Enjoy the fishing before the runoff!
