5.29.14 Upper Green River Fly Fishing Report
Flows at Warren Bridge: 3110 CFS
The Upper Green River Fly Fishing Report is the upper reaches below the Green River Lakes are starting to become fishable. We fished the waters below the lakes yesterday and had good success on streamers. The water is still cold but with the warm temps still hanging around expect the waters to warm up slowly. We have a few spots to book for the last 2 weeks of June so please call 307.739.7020 to book your trip
There is still a huge amount of snow to melt still; as of today the 30 year average of moisture is 276%, which is mind boggling. That being said looking at the chart below from NOAA the flows at Warren Bridge are still double of the 30 year average and the flows above Fontenelle Reservoir are just about a flood stage, currently.
We are planning to start guiding the lower reaches around late June, hopefully. Stay tuned for updates.
