Upper Green River Fishing Report

The Upper Green River Fishing Report for the Pinedale Wyoming area is there’s a lot of snow still up high so it looks like we’ll have good water throughout the entire season, HOPEFULLY! We hiked up into the mountains to see for ourselves and we found that there’s a significant amount of snow above 10,000.

Thus far the fishing has been challenging dealing with the varying conditions but for those willing to be flexible, the yields have been well worth the time and effort! Check out this monster brown below, this amazing fish is why we all love to fish the Green River in Wyoming.

As the water temps start to warm up were seeing more and more bugs every day and the fish should start looking up any day now. The overall cycle for the river seems to be several weeks delayed since we’ve had such cold weather. But, the past few days the afternoon temps are getting into the low 80’s so the flows are on the increase once again.
