Wind River Reservation
Reel Deal Anglers is always looking to add new waters to our list in order to keep our clients satisfied. In the spring of 2013, RDA fell in love with a piece of water located in the “heart” of the Wind River Reservation, not too far from our home operation here in Jackson Hole. Good friends of RDA had just secured the exclusive rights to miles and miles of the Wind River, Bull Lake and the stream coming in and out of the lake. Due diligence required that we “research” this water properly, so we fished it! Eight of our guides (including our intern Madalyn and her family) along with six of our clients fished and fished and fished some more. We are happy to report that this is some of the best water in the world for Giant Brown Trout! With exclusive access, excellent guides, gorgeous views, unparalleled habitat and wild trout, these trips on the Reservation have it all and boy, is it world class! Give us a call at 307.739.7020. This season we are happy to announce that one of our guides who is also a pilot will be shuttling our clients to & from the following airports; Pinedale, Afton, Big Piney, Riverton, Casper and Thermopolis. Best of the West
RDA is permitted on over 160 miles of the Green River, including the 7 mile stretch below Fontenelle Reservoir. We also guide on over 75 miles of the New Fork River, which boasts some trophy browns and is the best kept secret aroundRDA has just recently been permitted in the Big Piney and Kemmerer Ranger districts which is opening up an incredible amount of water to walk and wade. This area is on the eastern slope of the Wyoming Range and is sure to quench your adventuresome thirst! If you’re interested in the cutt-slam, this is the place to get it done.
