Fontenelle Dam Fishing Report

Here’s the latest from the Bureau of Reclamation today. It will be a few more days before we return to guiding on Fontenelle Dam area. Please call us @ 307-739-7020 to get the latest and updates or book your trips.

Hello:

Fontenelle Reservoir is currently at elevation 6503.9 ft (95% full) and the Fontenelle Dam releases are approximately 5,700 cfs. The current rate of inflow is roughly 8,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) and uncertainty exists regarding the decrease in spring inflows.

Fontenelle will be operated to accommodate the increased uncertainty in snowmelt runoff.

Therefore, tomorrow, Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., releases from Fontenelle will be increased to 6,200 cfs according to the following schedule:

After the final change at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow, June 16, 2016, releases will remain 6,200 cfs until further notice.  All times identified are local time (Mountain Prevailing Time) and not hour ending.
