Green River Fly Fishing Report

7.11.14

Flows at Warren Bridge: 2230 CFS

Upper Green River Fly Fishing Report for Pinedale Wyoming. This past week we’re still seeing much higher than “normal” and/or “average” flows. The temps from Sat 7/5 through 7/9 hit a high of 90 which slowed the catching down some but now that the afternoon t-storms cycle has re-started we’re seeing the epic Grey Drake hatches kick in to high gear. The bite has been from 9am to late afternoon and it’s only going to get better as these cloudy days persist. Every day the pattern de jour has changed from the duns to emergers to the spinners. In some areas the pmd’s are really starting to come off as well. As for the golden stones it appears as if they’re waning now.
