5.22.14 Jackson Hole Fishing Report Snake River

Flows at Moose: 6260 CFS

Flows Below Jackson: 7490

Based on the current runoff and dam operation plan (see below) for the Jackson Lake dam the flows will be very high and not be fishable until the latter part of July given the current scenario. We will continue to update as the conditions become more favorable for fishing.

5.7.14 Flows below Jackson: 4450 CFS The current Snake River Fishing Report  is that the rivers are now completely blown and they will be for the next few months due to the HUGE snowpack still up high in the mountains. As of yesterday the total snowpack is 144% of a 30 year average, which compares to  a lot of water, thankfully. 4.16.14 Flows at Moose: 904 CFS (Temp Range 37-42) The Snake River has cleared up and the nymph fishing has been very good the past few days on stonefly and midge patterns.
