Rock Springs Airport vs Jackson Hole Airport

 Speaking to so many people each season I frequently get asked the question on whether it’s a better option to fly into the Rock Springs Airport or the Jackson Hole Airport when planning to fly in to Wyoming to fish with Reel Deal Anglers.  Each airport is approx 1.5 hours from Pinedale and there’s no question that during the summer season the Jackson Hole Airport has a huge advantage on flights to select from. The one catch is they tend to be 20-30% more than the flights into the Rock Springs Airport. United is the only commercial option into Rock Springs and their schedule is typically and early or late departure and/or arrival. BUT, the flights into the range from $400-$550 RT depending on where your departure city is and getting in and out of Rock Springs is MUCH EASIER and simpler than the Jackson Hole Airport.
