When’s the “BEST” time to book with Reel Deal Anglers?

The booking process for the 2019 season is already upon us and the 100 million dollar question of, when’s the “BEST” time to book has presented itself once again? The 100 million dollar answer is; it will not be known, with a reasonable amount of certainty until the runoff/melting process starts, which is typically not until the end of April or early May of each season/year. And that, my friends fluctuates each and every season due to factors that are well beyond our control. For example; this past season we started guiding on the Green and New Fork Rivers in mid June and the year before it was mid July. The Snake River we started to guide in early July this year and late July the year before. What I can tell you is we will ALWAYS have quality water to guide on starting at the beginning of July through the end of September. It might be still water or the upper reaches of the Green River where there is no dam, which offers a great early season option. So, the moral of this blog is we can book early season trips, typically in mid June but we don’t take a deposit for the trip due to the uncertainty of the weather and water. Our early season policy is; if we’d take our family out then we’ll take out of client family. So there’s no risk whatsoever on the early season trips. Rest assured, you’ll be getting the Reel Deal!
Please know that by all factors being considered it looks to be that the 2019 season will be another popular one so if you’ve got your dates in mind to book your trip please get in touch so we can reserve your spots. For the trips booked from July 1st – through September 30th 2019, we won’t run your deposit un ti January 2019.
