Wyoming Snowpack
It’s been about a month since the last time I blogged about the Wyoming snowpack and thankfully, it’s still holding steady. We’ve had some unseasonably mild temps, mixed with rain in the valleys over the past few weeks, which has melted the low level snowpack. Therefore, the water temps are increasing in the rivers and the fish are getting more and more active. Aw yeah!!!
The Upper Snake Reservoir system is holding 66% of it’s storage capacity and the river temps are in the mid 40’s, which is getting the midge madness going strong and some really good bwo action too in the afternoons.
Now that the afternoon temps are into the mid 40’s and in the rivers too, our guide staff at Reel Deal are ready to get you in our boats for some great late winter/spring season trips. We have a winter special for $375 for a wade trip in Jackson on the Snake River and have started guiding below Fontenelle on our float/wade trips. These trips include all the gear, flies, lunch and hot beverages for your warmth and comfort.
Please give us a call to book your trips @ 307-739-7020. Tight lines and see you out there!
