6.1.2016
Fontenelle Reservoir is currently at elevation 6493.61 ft (73% full) and releases are approximately 2,600 cfs. The current rate of inflow is roughly 3,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) and will continue increasing with forecasted precipitation and increasing runoff.
The forecasted April-July inflow volume has increased substantially since early May, and temperatures are expected to increase initiating snowmelt runoff rather than precipitation increases. Fontenelle Reservoir shall be operated to accommodate the increased snowmelt runoff.
Therefore, beginning Monday, June 6, 2016, at 8:00 a.m., releases from Fontenelle will be increased to 2,900 cfs according to the following schedule:
After the final change at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016, releases will remain 2,900 cfs until further notice. All times identified in this directive are local time (Mountain Prevailing Time) and not hour ending.
